The sign in the stands at Bristol Motor Speedway said it all, “Kyle Busch Rules. Deal with it!” Kyle Busch became the first driver to win all three national NASCAR races in the same week at the same track when he swept the Truck, Nationwide and Sprint Cup races in Bristol. It was an incredible feat. Bristol Isn’t What It Used To Be
I’ve been to Bristol. I’ve been there with 160,000 other NASCAR fans. I’ve been there when there was really only one groove. I’ve been there to see Dale Earnhardt knock Terry Labonte and others out of the way to win. I’ve been there to witness drivers and crew members fighting during and after the race. I’ve been there when you could get a hotel room that you could afford. It’s sad that all of that is gone now.
